Food is amazing. Throughout all of history and around the entire world, it brings families together around a dinner table, it’s often the first date where a romance is born, and it’s how entire cultures can be experienced from afar. In this busy world, we’ve traded our health for convenience and have lost our relationship with food. We want to make food a part of our lives again. It is an amazing experience to visit one of the restaurants we serve and see our rabbits on the menu. Ordering a meal and knowing where the ingredients came from and when they arrived in the kitchen is more than just dinner…it’s a celebration.
a family affair
What started as a backyard hobby has grown into a family farm that annually provides thousands of pounds of the highest quality meat and tens of thousands of eggs to some of the finest restaurants in our community.
While the work is often grueling, it fosters a sense of pride in our children to help with caring for the animals every day, collecting eggs, and making product deliveries during school breaks.
Through farming, we have taught our boys how to work hard and be proud of your effort, how to treat animals ethically and respectfully, how to recognize God’s hand in the miracle of life, and how to be thankful for sacrifice.
